Luke Leighfield is barely over the age of twenty but has already made an impact on the music world with his pop melodies and piano friendly tunes.
Even though this young lad is releasing his second album ‘Fan the Flames’ which gives the listener yet more insight into the talented and incredibly zealous music he plays, Luke is just releasing his debut single in the form of ‘If You Haven't Got Anything To Say’. The piano by far stands out above other things with its simplicity and melodious sounds. This track has a Scouting For Girls atmosphere about it as he sings “It’s fine to have that bit where the piano drops out and everyone joins along”, which it does with clapping hands.
Between writing honest songs, catchy melodies, touring the UK and studying at University, where Luke Leighfield finds the time to breath is beyond me. However he manages to make time for all this it is a lovely job well done.
