Florence and the Machine - Kiss With a Fist
“Kiss With a Fist is not a song about domestic violence” Florence Welch, the singer songwriter behind the Florence and the Machine. Which is probably just as well as the song is a bouncy upbeat grindcore so having a song about something serious like that would just be wrong.
However, this is very enjoyable, fun and put together extremely well. South Londoner Florence Welch is Florence and the Machine and has had some notable musicians perform along side her. On “Kiss With a Fist” the guitars and drums are used in full force, with a brief guitar solo towards the end. My only complaint of this song is that it seems to finish too quickly.
The B Side “Hospital Beds” is an acoustic cover of the Cold War Kids song.
Florence and the Machine have a busy summer of festivals including Glastonbury, Itunes in London, the Secret Garden Party in Huntingdon and Underage Festival.
