Controlled Chaos.

Metal Six piece The Arusha Accord sound like Sikth reborn, and possibly they have enough power and balls to slip into the gap left behind by that band’s demise. This five track EP is full of the kind of complex guitar work you might expect after a comparison to a band like Sikth gets thrown into the mix, and yes it does sound like a crazed rabbit is jumping up and down the fret board, however the impressive complexity is counterbalanced by sections of relative calm with melodic vocals taking over so the tunes become instantly more accessible.

Opener, ‘The New Face Of Revenge’ hits all the right pressure points for fans of Sikth and Dilinger Escape Plan and also has a memorable tune that hooks you in straight away. ‘Death Of Thieves’ continues the impressive, controlled chaos with another cracking track and luckily this carries on until the last track has played through. Great vocals and quality guitar work infuse the ever shifting rhythm and style with enough cohesion to make it work and still keep things fresh and exciting; five brilliant tracks of heavy, melodic madness.
