A Danish debut not to be missed
Denmark has graced us with many amazing things over the years, such as Hans Christian Andersen and his amazing stories and more recently Alphabeat. But I think The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is probably the funkiest thing to come from Denmark since Aqua. Admit it, you couldn’t sop dancing and singing along to ‘Barbie Girl’ and ‘Dr Jones’.
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is neither a band, nor a duo. You see, Lars Iversen composes most of the music and the vocals supplied by Mette Lindberg, but on stage, they stand out as a six piece. With a funky rhythm and incredibly catchy feel, ‘The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine No More’ is one heck of a debut, especially with the Duffy styling to it; the vocals are quite quirky.
The Asteroids Galaxy Tour may be quite an odd name, but after listening to ‘The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine No More’, it will be a name you’ll remember.
