We Are The Physics - Bulimia Sisters
Glasgow four piece We Are The Physics release their new single 'Bulimia Sisters' on This Is Fake DIY Records and continue to impress us with their growing confidence and ability.
Early in the song the bass, played by one of the three Michaels within the band, is pushed right to the prominence and gives some real panache to the song and that is before we have any vocals and drums, including I believe a cow bell which I love to hear these days. 'Bulimia Sisters' does have a chaotic feel to it where the quartet tries to push the boundaries and create a new sound and not follow the commercial route. It does work to some extent too, which they should be praised for.
Next year starts off in an exciting way for the guys as they will be playing in Japan but no doubt will be heading back home before too long.
