King Of Conspiracy - Youth Against The Empire
Following up their debut album, King Of Conspiracy set the world alight with their debut single, 'Youth Against The Empire', which is exactly what the music world has been crying out for, fast, fresh, ingenious, full on astonishing punk / rock.
From the start Franck Couillard’s thumping drums and cow bell, Ronan Tatibouet’s pulsating bass and Michael Destouches with his awesome guitar playing skills to the end which culminates into a crescendo of a finish making you thirsty for more, which is lucky as the B side, 'Chinese Rings', just has to be one of the best B sides ever heard. If King Of Conspiracy consider this not to be worthy of a single in its own right then surely we have found the answer to all that is wrong in the world of music.
If this is a taste of what is to come in the future, then I am very hungry. This band are playing live constantly, including having recently supported The Subways to a tour of Japan in August and plenty in the UK, well worth seeing.
