The Almighty will reform in the New Year, but it's only likely to be a one off.

The Glasgow based rockers split in 1996 following the album 'Just Add Life', but are getting back together to perform tracks from their first five albums in aid of leukemia research, following bassist Floyd London's fight with the illness.

The gigs will feature the classic line-up of Ricky Warwick, Pete Friesen, Floyd London and Stumpy Monroe.

The band will be playing Glasgow Garage on January 5 and London's Mean Fiddler on January 6.

Support will come from Tokyo Dragons.
