If you live in the West Midlands you may well already be aware of Tim Shaw, now the rest of the UK is to get the chance to hear what this man does with his nights inside the four walls of a radio studio at Kerrang 105.2.

The 'asylum' airs weeknights between 10 PM and 1 AM, and although there is some music involved, it is the bits in between that has made the national press on a number of occasions, even though it is only available in Birmingham.

Most famously is the occasion where Shaw pulled a stunt where he claimed to be breaking into his boss's house and trashing it. Then there was the time where his wife, who comes in for a fair amount of stick on the show, was said to be so fed up with it that she sold his car on Ebay.

Some of the show features include: The Girl Next Door, The Nob Holder Next Door, The Little Boot, The Old Boot, Pop Round For a Poo, The Nan's Sex Tips and Shut It Nan.

The Emap owned rock station is to broadcast the evening and night time programming from it's flagship station in Birmingham on it's Kerrang Radio digital service, which can be heard nationwide on digital TV (Sky 933, NTL 895), and a number of places including London, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow on digital radio.

The show can also be heard on the
Kerrang Web Site

Tim Shaw's radio shows are described as one of a kind, totally unique and one that will certainly get people talking. It is said though that, and I think this is unlikely but, if you're easily offended then maybe it's not for you. For everyone else the fun starts on Kerrang Radio from 10 PM each night, Sunday to Thursday.
