2006 should see new material from Sonic Youth.
The band are currently in a New York studio putting the finishing touches to the follow-up to 2004's 'Sonic Nurse'. It's expected to be released in the summer.
If you want to get your hands on some of the band's early work, their 1982 eponymous debut EP is reissued on April 3.
On the same day, the group's Eighties alter-ego pop experiment Ciccone Youth's 'Whitey Album' also gets the reissue treatment, as well as frontman Thurston Moore's 1995 solo LP 'Psychic Hearts'.
