Feeder, Idlewild and Babyshambles are maong the acts lined up for a brand new one-day music event in Edinburgh.
Lets Rock! Edinburgh takes place on Saturday 30th September. 33 bands will play over 3 stages with the music carrying on through the night until 3am.
A number of acts have already been announced for the Highland and Lowland stages, and include The Futureheads, The Rakes, The Mystery Jets, Ed Harcourt, The Long Blondes, Morning Runner, The Young Knives, The Datsuns, Juliette and The Licks, Rooster, The Crimea, Kosheen, and The On Offs.
The third stage, called the Central Stage, features Boy Least Likely To, Kubichek!, Brigade, Members of the Public, Fear of Music, and The Scare.
As well as this, an unsigned Scottish act will also be given the opportunity to perform at Lets Rock! Edinburgh by opening the Central Stage. A select panel will judge bands
based on their myspace profiles and then select 6 acts to perform on a special live night at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh in September. The winner will be announced on the night.
