Following the successful completion of the UK tour, Ginger has been in the studio from July 17th recording his new solo album (not to be confused with the next Ginger and the Sonic Circus album).
Says Ginger: "The album I'm recording is my new solo album. I don't want to reveal the title yet, just in case I change my mind. It will feature new drummer Denzel Pearson and Jon Poole (who else?) on Bass. Jase Edwards will be involved in production / engineering and recording as well as playing guitar. Tim Smith will be producing. Watch this space for more details on this, and the forthcoming Howling Willie Cunt album, 'World Of Filth'."
We can expect a lot of new material in the next year or so, as Ginger and the Sonic Circus hope to record a separate album this year, and Ginger has also mentioned the possibility of the Wildhearts starting work on a new record before the year is out.
Finally there is a Wildhearts live album 'Geordie In Wonderland' out this week, recorded at the Scarborough 'Rock In The Castle' Festival,.
