Betty Curse is one of the artists shortlisted for the 'My Music' prize as part National Music Week, a music industry and government backed initiative designed to improve music education in schools. 1.3 million secondary school children taking part in the intiative on week on 16-20th October will be able to vote for their favourite artist, who will be revealed on 31st October.
Other shortlisted acts include: Matt Willis, Keisha White and 'Lil Chris.
Betty Curse will release her next single, 'Girl With The Yellow Hair', penned by Davey McManus from The Crimea on 6th November, with her album, 'Hear Lies Betty Curse' out online on 30th October.
