Today sees the second annual John Peel Day.
The Raconteurs, Squarepusher and The Horrors join the Electric Proms for a special gig on October 26 at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
Meanwhile tonight hundreds of gigs are being organized around the UK in memory of the Radio 1 DJ.

October 12 is Peel day as this was the date of his final show on Radio 1.
He died while on holiday in Peru with his wife in October 2004.
