Unsurprisingly given the size of the venues, the week of London shows Arcade Fire are to play next year sold out in double quick time.
Equally inevitable is that tickets are now appearing online for several grand each.
The band have reacted to this by announcing that tickets will be made available on the door for each show on the night. They also say that more UK dates are planned.
The gigs so far are three nights at St John's Church in Westminster, January 29, 30 and 31, and the other nights at Porchester Hall, February 1 and 2.
The follow-up to 'Funeral' is due out Spring 2007.
