The full line-up has been announced for the Evolution Festival, which takes place in Newcastle and Gateshead in the final week of May.
The event is brought to a close by the annual bank holiday free event, and this year the line-up is as follows:
The Freevolution: Spillers Stage: Maximo Park, Echo and the Bunnymen, Larrikin Love, Joe Jackson, Hot Club de Paris, Kano, The Motorettes, Seven Heroes, and The Stone Love & Bulletproof Soundsystem.
The Freevolution: BALTIC Stage: Radio Soulwax, Simian Mobile Disco (live), Calvin Harris, Datarock, Chromeo, Shy Child, Bonde do Role, To My Boy, and The Jukebox Soundsystem.
Both events are free and kick off at 1 PM.
