The Wurzels and DJ Tony Blackburn have teamed up to produced charity single, 'I Am A Cider Drinker'. Proceeds will go to the BUI Prostate Cancer Care Appeal, a cause especially close to the band's heart as co-frontman and accordionist Tommy Banner was last year diagnosed with the disease, but is now back in shape and ready for some more yokel partying and a slot at this year's Glastonbury on 24th June!

Thatchers Cider are also backing the campaign, producing their own brand of cider, 'Wurzel Me Cider' in tribute to the band! Bottles will feature The Wurzels on the label and 5p from each bottle sold will go directly to the prostate cancer appeal.
