The Crimea have announced plans to give away their second album, 'Secrets of the Witching Hour', yes that's right, for a free download of the whole album.

Although a CD format will be available to those wanting one, the band are hoping that the free album will increase their fan base and they will be able to earn enough from increased merchandise and live ticket sales to fund this venture. Adverts on the download page will also help the band earn money; this is a model that the music industry will be watching very closely as they struggle to prosecute even a small fraction of illegal downloaders.

Produced in London, Latvia and Norfolk, the album also boasts vocals from Regina Spektor and Paris Motel's Amy May.
