Victoria Bergman, former voice of The Concretes will be releasing a new album with her project Taken By Trees. The album entitled, 'Open Fields' will be out on 18th June. The album sees Victoria aided by Peter, Bjorn & John's Bjorn on string arrangements and various instruments and John on percussion, vibraphone and marimba. Victoria collaborated with the group on their 2006 single, 'Young Folks'. Other Taken By Trees collaborators include Electrelane's Verity Susman and Andreas Soderstrom - quite a stellar line up already!
The album was recorded in 6 days straight to try to keep the songs sounding fresh and full of energy. For more details on the record or the project see the website here
