Indie songstress Cat Power's album, 'The Greatest' has won the Shortlist Music Prize. The panel judging the award included Franz Ferdinand, Panic At The Disco, Sujan Stevens and KT Tunstall, who says of the album, "Cat Power's album quickly got under my skin. She has one of the most beguiling voices around. 'The Greatest' is an immediate classic that will never age."
The album will be available to download from iTunes with an exclusive extra track for a week to celebrate. Other finalists include Beirut, Bonnie Prince Billy and Regina Spektor.
