Bloc Party, Charlatans, Stereophonics and Super Furry Animals will headline four gigs in aid of Shelter as part of the annual X FM Winter Wonderland shows.

The shows take place in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff.

Brixton Academy will launch the run of gigs on Sunday Sunday 9.

Bloc Party will be playing alongside Supergrass, Kate Nash and One Night Only.

The winners of X FM's Rock School in the London, Manchester and Scotland areas will open their relevant show.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 9am on Friday the 9th of November.

X FM's new station in Wales will begin test transmitions next week, and launch at the end of November. The DJ line up is set to include former Stereophonics drummer Stewart Cable (currently on Kerrang Radio) and two members of Goldie Lookin' Chain who will host the drivetime show each weekday evening.
