James McAvoy, who is rumoured to be playing the part of Kurt Cobain in an up-coming biopic, has said he is unaware of getting the gig.
MTV.com say that the Scottish actor has commented: "People have been saying that to be, but I haven't heard anything about it."
The fimlm is reported to be based on the book ‘Heavier Than Heaven’, a biography of Cobain by Charles Cross.
Courtney Love is an executive producer on the film.
