The Enemy have won the first X FM New Music Award.
They were one of ten shortlisted acts to release debut albums in 2007, and beat off the challenge of Klaxons, The View, The Twang, Airtraffic and Frank Turner amongst others.
The event happened at Koko in Camden, and saw the irony of Alex Zane presenting them with their award having banned them from being played on his breakfast show after a much publicized spat last year.
