Messrs Jagger, Richards, Wood and Watts have announced they will be releasing a live album to coincide with the release of their Martin Scorsese-directed concert film 'Shine A Light'
Scorsese filmed the Stones over a two-day period at the Beacon Theatre in New York City for the film. 'Shine A Light' will see a lot of the old favourites like 'Sympathy for The Devil' and 'Start Me Up' as well as some rarely performed tracks. On top of this, the album will feature collaborations with Jack White of White Stipes, Christina Aguilera and Blues legend Buddy Guy.
'Shine A Light' (the album) will be a 22 track double CD, released through Universal on 7 April 2008 while 'Shine A Light' (the film) will be released nationwide later that week on 11 April.
