The Stone Temple Pilots reunion has been officially confirmed.

The band will launch a new website next week, when news of a massive North American tour will be revealed.

As yet there is no indication as to when, if at all, the band willhead to the UK or Europe.

Earlier this week, Scott Weiland was fired from Velevet Revolver.
