Europe will close the 2009 Bloodstock Open Air.

The band have seven studio albums behind them, and their latest, ‘Last Look at Eden’ will be out in time for their BOA date.

Cradle of Filth were also recently added, and will headline Saturday alongside Blind Guardian. Friday night will be headlined by Carcass and Arch Enemy.

Also playing over the weekend of August 14-16 are Saxon, Enslaved, Sabaton, Turisas, Amon Amarth, The Haunted, Girlschool, Katatonia, Candlemass
And Satyricon.

Tickets are on sale now for Bloodstock Open Air, which happens at Catton Hall in Derbyshire.
