Friendly Fires have been confirmed as the Sunday headliner at Camp Bestival.

The St. Albans indie-dance outfit joins Marc Almond, Billy Bragg and The Blockheads on the bill of the award-winning Dorset festival.

Festival organiser Rob Da Bank has said of the news: "Camp Bestival's third trip to the seaside is looking like a right old knees up - Friendly Fires have played almost every Bestival going so I'm delighted to see them coming to Camp and we've done loads of work on our arts and literary side and to have interview sessions with Andrea Arnold, Nigel Godrich and DJ Derek is ace. Lots and lots more stuff coming next week… Hold tight!"

Other acts confirmed for the event are: Madness, The Human League, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Calvin Harris, Chipmunk, The Fall, The Cuban Brothers and Pete and the Pirates.

Tickets for the Camp Bestival 2010 are now on sale.
