Ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr has written and recorded the theme song for an upcoming Channel 4 sitcom.
The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret is set to star comedian David Cross as the titular character and will air in October. Better know for his role as 'analrapist' Dr. Tobias Funke in Arrested Development, the six episodes will follow the fortunes of Margaret, an American office temp working in London.
Marr, currently in The Cribs, has recently added music to the score of Christopher Nolan's mind-bending Inception and has composed a score to the upcoming Antonio Bandera film The Big Bang
,The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret will air from October 1 at 22:00 on Channel 4.
