Florence and the Machine, She and Him, Julian Casablancas and more are all to contribute to a Buddy Holly tribute album.

'Rave On Buddy Holly' will be a 19 track album compromising of the best known Holly tracks reinterpreted by a slew of high-profile artists, including Karen Elson, Modest Mouse and My Morning Jacket.

The album will be released on June 28 through Fantasy Records/Concord Music Group.

Buddy Holly died in 1959 at the age of just 22.
