Alexisonfire announce they have split up. In a statement on the bands official website George Pettit says:
"There is no good way to put it so I'm just going to say it. After 10 years, Alexisonfire has decided to part ways."
He goes on to say the band may release some final material and do a fairwell tour in Canada but details are yet to be confirmed.
