A benefit night is to be held on 5th October at Favela in London in aid of all affected by the Fire at the PIAS factory on 9th August.

The warehouse contained a large amount of stock from the UK's main independent music labels. Although the stock was insured, the loss is having a big
effect on hundreds of indie labels.

Musician and producer Richard Norris has organised a benefit at Favela London, Gt Eastern Street, Shoreditch, featuring a fine line up of London based DJ talent including Ashley Beedle, Justin Robertson, Pete Herbert, Richard Norris, Nathan Detroit, Ross Allen and Andrew Weatherall playing a rockabilly set.

Richard says: 'Everyone on the bill has been affected by this one way or another'. This is a chance to put a little back into the independent music community that we are all part of. And also to have a cracking night.'

Limited Early bird tickets are 6 pound in advance from Ticket Web, then 8 pound or 10 pound on the door.

All participating in the night have given their services for free. All door money will go directly into the fund put together by AIM (the association of independent music) to help affected labels keep afloat, and benefits for labels are being held nationwide, co-ordinated by Label Love.
