Muse have donated £15,000 of musical equipment to Plymouth University.
The Devon band donated the state-of-the-art equipment to allow students to experience industry-standard recording equipment.
A spokesman for the band has said of their gift: [The band] are delighted to provide this equipment and hope it will inspire students to go on and create great music for years to come.
The band are currently working on their sixth studio album, follow-up from 2009's 'The Resistance'.
