Today is a good day as its Stevie D's birthday and our home town show at the George venue in Andover. Load in was at 1.30 as todays show is an all dayer, and we get to play with our tour buddies Orestea again whom we toured with last autumn, so after sound check we spent the afternoon catching up and chatting to loads of friendly familiar faces.
People just kept rolling in and by the time we hit the stage at 8.00 the venue was packed, the sound was incredible and we played the best show of the tour so far. Just before we played Falling Free we had four shots of Jager delivered to the stage by our buddy Stigger as well as a birthday snare skin, signed by nearly everyone at the venue for Stevie D's birthday, which he was well chuffed with. Kicking off the next song the crowd was super loud, singing along and emanating raw energy which continued for the rest of the super sick set!!!
We'd been good and not drunk today so once we came off stage it was time to get the party started, a lot of alcohol was consumed and the partying carried on until the early hours of the morning, buts its ok as we not have three days off to recover until the next show. Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came down and made it such a great show, you guys were fucking killer.
