Steven Wilson has announced that the forthcoming dates with Blackfield will signal the end of his involvement with the band. He released the following statement through his website:
Unfortunately, due to increasing activities with my solo work and other new projects, these will also be my final shows with Blackfield, and for this reason the set list will draw mainly from the first 2 albums, which were the ones that myself and Aviv collaborated on most closely (my role on the recent fourth album was as a guest only). Aviv will continue recording and touring as Blackfield with new collaborators, but for me this is going to be a thank you and "farewell", so I would love to see you there!
