All Hooked Up
So we're waiting for them to start and we notice this guy on stage being filmed having four fat fucking meat hooks pierced through his back. He's hooked up on a fly with his back to the audience just swaying back and forth for about 5-10 minutes.
Then the drums start and you realise this is Society 1.... And then the frontman on hooks starts swinging. His feet are six foot from the stage and he's swaying from one side to the other. Hardcore!

By the third track he's spinning round and round and dancing fully supported by the four meat hooks through his back. Mad, but then their music is full on aggression but with a real groove. This is quite the act.

This is the first time that they've brought suspension of this kind to the UK and today's half hour set on four hooks will have broken a new record. Yet another historic Donington event. A quality show nonetheless but this is their whole act.
