Energetic, enthusiastic and full of fire
By now night is falling, the entire street has become completely rammed and any tourist who has unwittingly wandered in is now there permanently as the hundreds of faithful fans wait.
The Subways' set is bursting with energy and hit singles;
Rock N' Roll Queen being a particular crowd favourite. But their best number is "1am"- a brilliantly fired up blues number that really shows the crowd how three kids can rock an entire street.

But despite the enthusiasm of both the band and their following, the songs begin to drag after a while and bassist/vocalist Charlotte Cooper's voice becomes tinny in its sound. Whilst they are good and entertaining, The Subways don't quite live up to the hype surrounding them and their sound.
