Manic Street Preachers
Seaclose Park was packed this Saturday night. A very well performed mix of old and new, and even unreleased material, including most of their major hits, found the audience loving this act, singing enthusiastically. Although not as energetic as other bands, such as Jet, this more mature sound reflected their audience and style, but with a great response from all ages.
Their performance showed just how used to hoards of people they are and they didn’t seem overwhelmed or massively privileged to be there, but their soft-rock style fitted the festival perfectly and in the twilight hours were a fantastic warm up for The Who.
