As I Lay Dying live at Shepherds Bush Empire

Erupting on to the stage in a packed out, overcrowded venue, Tim Lambesis introduces their set with the screams of Condemned; it's not long before crazed fans get in to the swing of things and start opening up pits all over the place.
Swinging the mic around, he jolted about stage like a bolt of electricity and demanded the crowd jump, head-bang and basically ruin the venue.

Guitarists Nick Hipa and Phil Sgrosso executed a fine set of guitar solos; keeping things fresh from the heavily shredded riffs, as bassist Josh Gilbert delivered an extra helping of vocal delight as he cut through the furious thrashing screams of front-man Tim with some melodic touches.

Old classics such as 94 Hours resurfaced and favourable tracks of the night were evidently A Greater Foundation and Nothing Left; which saw the majority of fans throwing themselves into one another, turning the whole, if not most of downstairs standing area into a sea of bodies.
Their set was dominated with intensifying raw material throughout and ended with the shattering The Sound Of Truth; whilst they were slaying the crowd as if they were the head liners. They can't return to the UK soon enough.
