Attack! Attack! goes out with a BANG!

Attack! Attack! began life as four musicians from South Wales, intent on creating good old fashioned rock music. Life seemed pretty good to start out with, two successful albums and countless tours across the UK, each one gaining the band more and more followers. However, with the approach of the third album came a downfall, the demise of Attack! Attack! when after months of deliberating, Ryan Day and Mike Griffiths decided to call it quits. Thankfully, lead vocalist Neil Starr and bass guitarist Will Davies decided to go out on a high and continue on with the approaching tour and album, giving fans one last taste of Attack! Attack! before all members moved on to venture in new ideas.

The last London date on their tour came at Islington's Garage and the band went out with an almighty bang! Performing well known tracks from their first two albums such as You and Me, This is a Test and of course Honesty which no set would be complete without, the lads also treated the crowd to Cut to the Chase which was from their new release. Each and every song that was performed by the lads received the same crowd reaction; screams of lyrics, yells of excitement as well as dancing, moshing and all about nuttiness as one last party before the end.

Just like always Neil took center stage and gave an absolutely breathtaking performance, one that was sweltering just to watch happen let alone be on that stage. One aspect of the Attack! Attack! set performance we have all come to love is Neil's guitar antics. The way he swings that guitar round and round in his hand as he is playing will always be a highlight of an Attack! Attack! set and will something that will certainly be missed. As the end came, Attack! Attack! can honest say they went out blazing and the crowd loved them for it.

Remaining Attack! Attack! members Will and Neil have already started a new band called States and Empires which you can follow through their Facebook page.
