A step down

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a violin in metal isn’t something you tend to hear very often. What’s even more ridiculous is that, in the case of Magog, it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. It’s still tuneless aggression, mindless screaming and headache-inducing generica, with any actual talent utterly overpowered by the brash noise.

Their appearance onstage is similarly generic, energetic but utterly formulaic, and as such not in any way noteworthy. Even though the music gets slightly more interesting later on, it’s certainly a big step down from the raw power of previous act Bloodstream.
