The Holiday Plan Glasswerk '05

Right. After the brilliant first part, you are all excited to hear how the Holiday Plan will be on stage. And one thing is for sure...giving them a 4/13 is just too nice considering their performance.

Headliner? That was probably the worst joke I have ever heard.

First song and the only thing that comes to your mind is "Oh My God, that can't be true". The so-called singer was just absolutely not in rhythm with the music and his voice was just terrible.

Now the music. If only that could make up for the singing bit...but that is just what you call a nice dream. The only way you can name it is "a mess". Catching the actual tune was not possible as there was no tune, just as if each member of the band was playing his stuff without taking care of what the others were doing.

So you wait for the other songs to arrive... maybe they were just very nervous, it was the start. Well...NO. It did not get better at all.

Their parents and mates were sooo proud of them (you could not miss them, they were all grouped together with the video cameras)... but oddly enough..the crowd was little by little leaving the venue!

These guys should not have been on the bill or at least not be put as headliners as the level of their music was just too weak. If you had to take the only positive thing out of their performance it would be their energy. But even that became annoying as it took them ages to start a song : they were joking, talking, etc. Of course it is nice to chat with the audience, but not for so long and not after each and every song.

Even beginning a song seemed to be a struggle : one guitar started but the others didn't or it was the drummer who started too soon. Anyway it was bad...really bad. The feeling you get from them is that they were a bunch of kids playing as if they were in their garage but certainly not a band with some kind of talent worth playing at a Glasswerk festival!

So after listening to them for too long, I just left like many other people.
