Just by looking at Drug Dealer Cheerleader, you can tell that they are a Rock band and they live the lifestyle. Straight on after black Metallers Sacred Flesh, Drug Dealer Cheerleader are certainly a contrast. Looking like a Rock band is one thing but do they sound like it. In a word. Yes.

Drug Dealer Cheerleader have the groove of Guns N Roses whilst having the easy-going bubblegum lyrics of The Ramones or The Wildhearts. Albeit their singer is a bit Americanised, Drug Dealer Cheerleader have tonnes of attitude and each song they pull out the bag has a good solid bar-room stomp to it.

The crowd seem to Drug Dealer Cheerleader, as there is a load of Queen style-clapping to most of the songs.

The band seems right at home in this kind of atmosphere though they give of the persona that they could headline Wembley and do it well.
