Tim Bowness concert

Once you arrived at the London Bush Hall you could not feel better. The venue was beautiful, and the best thing of all, you were comfortably installed.
The venue was classy, and so was Tim Bowness.

When you see him arriving, you see a shy man, a bit lost, not knowing where to go or where to start. But as soon as the first notes are played the magic operates. His lyrics are full of poetry and melancholy. He does not just sing the words, he lives them. Sighed vocals and sweet melodies hypnotise you and you get caught in his world. His face expresses all the emotions he goes through: sadness, regret, sometimes hope.

His music and voice are unique, in the likes of Portishead or Tim Buckley. His introversion and discretion just make him greater, getting the whole attention of the audience. There was not even a whisper during his performance.

Between his songs you could barely hear his voice, just as if he were scared of the microphone or the audience, or perhaps he is just an artist living in his own universe that he showed us during that very particular and superb concert.
