Loco Tuco

With Silkfest being one of the decent mini-festivals in Basingstoke for a long time, all eyes will be watching the opening band.

Any band that has the job of opening up a gig, the experience is bound to be nerve racking. Silkfest is certainly no different, as local boys Tuco soon discover.

The punk crowd stand and absorbs the band even though they aren’t dancing about you can tell they're taking notice.

As they get in to the first couple of songs, the PA breaks down which is a shame because their blend of snotty Dickies-style speed punk and hardcore is a good sound.

After a long delay with the PA being fixed the band continue their set regardless. Even though the band had the ever-difficult sound problems, you've got to give them credit for trying. It would be interesting to see what the band would sound like minus the technical problems.
