A band with confidence

You have probably been to small venues before where everyone hangs about the edges of the room and no one wants to be the first to get up close and personal with the band. This is one thing Lights Go Blue decided to change from the start. Before they even played the first note they encouraged everyone on the sidelines and standing at the back to move forward and get closer to the stage. As you can imagine people moved forward but never got too far as to invade the bands personal space. Expect for two individuals who without a care in the world stood at the front and danced through the entire set, which was exactly what the band wanted and appreciated.

Musically wondrous are probably the words I would use for this band, well duo. It must be quite difficult to accomplish what these guys do. As Raj drums away in the background, Alex stands strong at the front on guitar and keys and the laptop rumbles away behind. Yet both take turns on vocals, at times harmonising like a rugged choir.

Lights Go Blue were extremely appreciative for the fans listening and showed this by sticking around and chatting to them after their set, as well as listening to the remaining two bands.
