The crowd was entranced by the American metal legends.

“Iced Earth! Iced Earth! Iced Earth!” chanted the masses gathered at stage one, long before the band was due to start. The energy was electric when, out of nowhere, heavy guitars and chanting filled the arena and the legends of metal themselves, Iced Earth, bounded onto the stage.

It wasn’t long before Iced Earth proved that old is best, showing the legions of metal fans new and old why they have been at the top of their profession for so long.

The crowd was entranced by the American metal legends: Jon Schaffer blew minds with intricate riffs while Brent Smedley, Troy Seele and Freddie Vidales provided earth-shaking rhythms on drums, guitar and bass respectively.

Iced Earth had a chemistry that cannot be taught; they effortlessly combined to perform some of the most intense and hypnotic instrumental pieces I've ever witnessed.

Although these guys have been performing for over twenty years, their music is timeless. If it ain’t broke, why fix it?
