Bowling For Soup hit the stage at Wembley

Bowling For Soup are playing their biggest ever UK shows as Steel Panther's main support.
The arena shows coincide with the release of the first new Bowling For Soup album in three years, Drunk Dynasty which is reported to be a short, sharp collection of uplifting, tongue-in-cheek and fun pop punk – thankfully, they only play one song from this album besides that their set doubles up as a greatest hits show.

The Texans blend of pop-punk is the perfect music for an arena show, and many of the audience who would probably never admit to liking the four piece, happily sang along with the likes of Girl All The Bad Guys Want, Punk Rock 101 and Ohio.

As we have come to expect from BFS, their set included a 'musically enhanced photo opportunity' and a cover of Fountains Of Wayne's hit Stacey's Mom, but they have dropped their 'band who waves' label – phew!

Bowling For Soup put on a great show and appeared happy and comfortable playing to a much larger audience, it was just unfortunate that their time on stage featured some inaudible mumblings from Erik Chandler and a couple of failed jokes from frontman Jaret Reddick... cue awkward silence on an epic scale.

Overall, Bowling For Soup put on a fun, upbeat and enjoyable show, proving no matter how big or small their stage, they'll always give their crowd a good time.
