There are not many bands around now who create the kind of buzz with the release of new material as Slipknot do. Weeks of teasers, bizarre messages and graphic images have culminated in The Negative One. This track is the first piece of new material since 2008's All Hope Is Gone and has begun the journey towards the highly anticipated fifth studio album.
Slipknot fans around the world were of course rocked in recent months by the departure of Joey Jordison, and whilst the band are yet to confirm who the new drummer is (or indeed if there is a new permanent bassist), The Negative One sounds absolutely huge.
