Never shy of big announcements out of the blue, the Bloodstock team have provided us with an absolute TREAT of a second headliner to help get through those first few days of the January blues. With a line-up already including Friday headliners Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, Hatebreed, Testament and more, Bloodstock have now announced that the mighty MEGADETH will be rounding things off this year as the Sunday night headliners. The band most recently headlined the event three years ago now, but it is fair to say that off the back of the excellent Dystopia this is a Megadeth in a far more rich vein of form.

Commenting on their addition to the bill, Dave Mustaine stated "We kick off 2017 by announcing we'll be headlining Sunday night at Bloodstock, one of my favourite, purely metal, British festivals! Megadeth had a blast last time and I can't wait to bring the Dystopia World Tour to Bloodstock this Summer. See ya at Catton Park in August!"
