Punk's Not Dead is an independent documentary film about punk rock—specifically, about how punk has emerged from the underground to the mainstream. The documentary is told through the voices of the band members, the indie labels and the kids, faithfully reflecting their perspectives. The film will be a colorful collage of the punk rock scene from the past and present. Interviews, concerts, rehearsals, studio recordings, music videos, stock footage and photographs will be incorporated to create an informative and entertaining documentary film.

With an all "Punk" star cast including; My Chemical Romance, The Used and Good Charlotte, this film documentary is guaranteed to be full of angst fueled "punks" fighting for their voices to be heard... Well at least the first part might be!

But I can't help but feel that the director of this film, Susan Dynner, might have missed the point somewhere along her long journey of looking at the history of punk, maybe punk actually is dead? Surely when punk is associated with bands such as My Chemical Romance its just another nail in the coffin?

And now...back to the news...
