Municipal Waste have played the legendary CBGB in New York City on September 7th for what could be the bands last trip to the club. CBGB has been battling its landlords over the last few months in regards to obtaining a renewed lease for the club. So far, all efforts have been to no avail as the
landlord company has no plans of renewing the lease for the 30 year plus
residents at CBGB. Over the course of the last month, many artists have
rallied to support the club in its time of need by playing a series of
benefits shows. Municipal Waste are participating in this long list of
amazing bands that have come to the club's aid and were scheduled to perform
at CBGB along with Dr. Know and Hull on September 7th as part of a last ditch effort to keep this legendary birthplace of punk from going the way of so many other legendary rock clubs.

Municipal Waste's Earache Records Debut Album "Hazardous Mutation" is set
for a US Release on September 20th. Be sure to check out these virginia
thrash legends, whether it be at CBGB or on this incredible addition to the
thrash genre.
